Why this ranking differs from the Hyperliquid leaderboard
A public leaderboard sorted by PnL or ROI selects for position size and survivorship. The wallets at the top are frequently the ones that took the most leverage and have not yet been liquidated, and the accounts that were destroyed reaching for the same return are simply absent from the list. Sorting by outcome over a short window measures luck and exposure at least as much as skill.
This ranking applies floors before it applies order. An address must show enough closed trades and enough history for its metrics to mean something, and the score penalises the return profile that precedes a blow-up — a high win rate carried by occasional oversized losses. The reasoning is set out in why raw Hyperliquid leaderboards are misleading.
